Turning Points is an annual book series which features the personal stories and insights of Rice University professors in their own words, gathered from interviews Gateway Study of Leadership fellows conduct each year. Turning Points distills decades of wisdom, experience, and inspiration from some of the country’s most accomplished academics into an accessible format. Each year, a different set of Rice professors from a select school of academic discipline reflect on their careers, research interests, and experiences in academia, through the Gateway Study of Leadership cohort interviews. Thus, anyone, from aspiring and current students to working professionals to the general public, can peek behind the curtain of one of society’s most influential institutions and to be inspired by what they find.
Turning Points books are part of the Woodson Research Center holdings at the Fondren Library for those who wish to view the print versions.
